2008 saw the arrival of our revamped m101 single channel preamp, as well as the balanced output option for the m902, but 2009 will be even busier. We have just launched the Spacebar precision microphone positioner, and there are more, exciting things to come this year. So please stay tuned.

We proudly announce the release of our latest product offering: the Spacebar. Designed for audio professionals in the music recording, film scoring, live sound, broadcast and fixed installation markets, the Spacebar precision microphone positioner is a unique solution for those seeking a high degree of precision in their stereo recording applications.

Available in 30 and 66cm versions, the Spacebar precision microphone positioner allows for precise and repeatable setting of microphone capsule spacing, angle of incidence, and rotation around the X axis. With precision scales for angle and distance engraved on the Spacebar components, it becomes easy to make perfectly repeatable stereo microphone setups.

As well as being able to precisely set microphones in standard stereo configurations, (i.e. XY, ORTF, NOS and AB 50cm) the Spacebar system allows for exact settings through the entire continuum of angle and spacing. This allows the user to adjust the stereo microphone array and tailor the pickup field to suit virtually any recording environment.

The Spacebar system is precision fabricated from machined aircraft aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. We build these to last and so they come with full lifetime warranties. They are available from any of our authorized dealers or distributors or directly from our website.
