November 2014

Mmmm, Thanksgiving. The Harvest Festival. Pilgrims and Puritans. Pumpkin Pie. Abundance. Here at Grace Design, we know what we're thankful for: Friends, family, being together. Celebrating another year of having the best jobs in the best place and working with the best (including you, dear reader) people. So as we ease back after a lovely meal and reflect, we will be ever mindful of all the great things in this world. An abundance of clean air, water and sustenance. And with that, we send our best wishes out everyone. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ok then, down to business.

Presenting two cool new options for the m905 monitor controller!

Postcard from America

m905 Analog

The m905 is now available without the DAC section - bringing this unrivaled analog signal quality within reach of a much wider range of engineers and recording studios. System configuration is exactly the same as the standard m905, with all the monitoring features and powerful setup configuration, except no there are no digital inputs. We also added a second pair of balanced analog inputs via XLR.

Signal purity is still the names of the game, and the m905 analog brings it in abundance. Regardless of your setup, with the m905 analog at the heart of your monitoring path, you will be able to hear and control more subtle details in your work than ever. This means you mixes will come together faster and sound better.

This option is to be is especially suited to anyone who already has a DAC in their system, whether standalone or built into an interface device. Retail for m905 analog system is $2495 making a easy choice for anybody considering a stereo monitor controller in the 2k range. Also, if you decide you want the DAC section at a later date, you can always upgrade for $1000.

2 . Infrared Remote Control

Next, we are now offering an infrared remote control, which enables users to control their m905 wirelessly from across the room (leisured producers couch). This is available on either digital or analog units, and costs $150 from the factory or $250 as an upgrade. We install a little IR receiver on the front panel. You can then control basic monitoring features - volume, input selection, mute, mono, crossfeed, channel solo and preset level recall.

We sell a remote control for $125, or you can use the little $20 Apple IR remote you have lying around. Or - with the $125 Logitech Harmony Remote Hub, you can control these features from your iOS or Android device. In any instance, the m905 RCU is still required to operate the m905, and IR remote commands simply work in tandem with the main RCU.

There's more information on our website, or you can always call us (303.823.8100) for all the details in person.

Both the m905 analog and the IR remote options are available to order now and will be shipping in the first week of December.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
